The Manchester Waters site is located within the regional centre in a strategically important gateway location and offers a spectacular waterfront development opportunity right on the fringe of Manchester City Centre and in close proximity to MediaCity:UK. Manchester Waters is prominently situated adjacent to the A56 Bridgewater Way, incorporating the Pomona Island and Cornbrook Hub areas, the site offers potential for the development of over 2,000 residential unit and 35,000 sq.m of commercial floorspace. 

Located within the site are the Cornbrook and Pomona Metrolink stops – key elements of the City Region’s public transport network, and is adjacent to the A56, the main arterial route connecting Trafford to Manchester, the site has excellent connections to Manchester City Centre and beyond.

The Cornbrook Hub Regeneration Framework provides a detailed examination of the key issues, opportunities and challenges presented by the Cornbrook Hub site. It then places it in the context of existing planning and regeneration policy and the many other regeneration initiatives in Manchester, Trafford and Salford.
