A redevelopment of the old hospital site within the Historic Market Quarter is due to start in 2016, with an improved Library and Health and Wellbeing Centre. This will complement the recent investment in refurbishing the historic Market House which was completed in 2014, providing a high quality food and drink offer.

Other recently completed schemes include a new £17m new state-of-the-art hospital, along with a £19m investment in Altrincham’s new Interchange. A sympathetic refurbishment of the historic Stamford House next to the Interchange offers ground floor retail units with high quality apartments on the upper floors.
